Assignment #8: Japan Today

 I read the article about Japanese'Avengers'fans up in arms over shoddy voice acting on Blu-ray release. Avengers is the superhero movie that a lot of heroes of comics appear in. There are “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man” and “Thor” and so on. A lot of Japanese people were hoping that the Avengers become the Blu-ray. The Blu-ray become cheap and people can easy to buy it. Disney Japan opted to enlist a host of Japanese TV stars. Also Comedians wanted to provide the voice acting for the characters of the film. Some Japanese people didn't satisfied with dubbing. When I watch Western paintings, I watch it in English. Because I want to hear real voice of actors. Sometimes voice of dubbing is terrible. When Japanese people watch Western paintings, I recommend them to watch it in English.

Assignment #7: Fall and Winter

 I really like fall and winter. Because I like cold. I don't like hot summer. In summer I can swim in the pool and sea. I can also enjoy summer festivals and see fireworks. I like these things,but I hate Japanese summer. When I went to Canada, it was summer time. Canadian summer was not hot. I liked Canadian summer. When I back to Japan, I was surprised. Japanese summer was very hot. So I hate Japanese summer. I like Japanese fall and winter. Fall is cold, and winter is pretty cold. I like cold. I like sweet potatoes. In fall,sweet potatoes are very delicious. I like fall the best. Fall is not too cold. I also like winter. Especially, I like December. In December there is the Christmas. It's a interesting event. When December close, I am exiting. Christmas is coming soon. I can't wait anymore. I hope I can have a good time with my friends on Christmas day.

Assignment #6: TED

 I watched the video about Before I die I want to... Candy Chang lost a person who she love a lot.She was like a mother for Candy. Because of her die, she decided to think about die. People avoid to think about die. But all the people die someday. But she think about die. She also think about Before I die I want to... She made the board on the wall of the vacant house. There is the word " Before I die I want to ". People who pass in front of this board write words. Some people wrote" Before I die I want to hold her one more time." Some people wrote"Before I die I want to be a real me." I think Candy made the chance to think about die and what they want to do before they die. I also think I want to write my hope before I die on this board. I think it is important to think about die, and I want to find what I want to do before I die.

Assignment #5: Aki Ra

I thought Aki Ra is a remakable man. He is saving Cambodia. He is working as a soldier, and he is removing land mines from land. There are a lot of minds in the world. It's difficult to remove all land mines. But the thing that Aki Ra is doing is not the futile thing. I wish all minds are removed by people who is like Aki Ra. I have watched the video about people who were injured by land mines. Some people lose their legs, and some people dead. Land mines are very bad arms. Because of war, a lot of people dead. I hope war and land mines disappear, and everyone be happy. I thought I am so happy. I can take the high education, medical, and so on. I thought I have to go to poor places,and I have to see the world.

Success: What Does it Take?

 I learned about success from this video. I learned the thing from Richard St. John's story. He was succeed in the business. He got a lot of money,and he got conceited. When he become rich, he don't think about customers. He also failed. After he started to work hardly, and his business went well again. There are 8 principles to succeed in things, passion, work, focus, push, ideas, improve, serve, and persist. I thought if I succeed in business, I continue to do my best. I also thought I have to make a effort. I should do my best for everything. If I stop to do my best, I will become a poor person. I learned about the true success story. I take it to heart.

Assignment #3: Viral Videos

 I think these videos are interesting. A video of example is interesying. A boy sends his toy to sky.He was so exiting in this video. The face of toy often changed. When the toy went high place of sky,it looked anxious. But it approached to the land,a train's face was so happy. A boy picked up his train and he smiled. It is a just thing for us,but it is an adventure for him. People were drawn into this video,because this video was elaborate and it like an adventure.
 I like all videos,but especially,I love "Charlie bit my finger again!".In this video,Charlie's older brother was bited by Charlie. Charlie and his brother were so cute.Their cute made a lot of people captivate. I thought foreign children are so cute,and their reaction are so pretty. When Charlie was bitind his brother's finger,he was laughing.His brother was saying "Ohhhhhh." with a face distorted with pain. I think this video became popular because this video make people smile.

Assignment #2: Images

 I chose the photo about fun and games. There are many funny photos there. People were wearing really interesting costumes. A lot of games gathered in Makuhari messe from all over the world. Nowadays ,games of  smartphones and computers are very popular among Japanese people. They often play games with them in train. They also play it when they are free or they don't have things that they have to do. 1000 games gathered in Chiba,and a lot of people visited there. They enjoyed to play games and go to booth bases. I think a lot of people were enjoying this event. Japanese games are very nice. For example,the biohazard is a Japanese game,and it's loved by people who live in all over the world. I really proud of Japanese games.I thought people who were participated in the event were interesting.A few of them were wearing interesting costumes.I also thought they were enjoying event with their bodies.

Assignment #1: Then and Now

 I learned about fear of tsunami on this video.Tsunami destroyed everything.Nowadays,a lot of people live in temporary houses.I'm sorry about that.Because of tsunami,most people dead.People's heart dead too.I hope that Ishinomaki revive and people's heart heal.I didn't know that half of people who live in Ishinomaki don't have jobs.I think they don't respect japanese governmant.They started to lost the hope.For a while they have to live temporary houses.
 I people who were talking in this video did their best.I also think it is hard to talk about tsunami that they have experienced.I believe that people who live in Ishinomaki can live happily and peacefully.I think I visit Ishinomaki,and I learn about them.

Assignment9#: How's it Going?

 I am enjoying my Kwansei gakuin university's life.I became friends with a lot of people.I love them so much.Especially,I love classmates of English11.They are so funny,and they make me happy.I entered three clubs.All clubs are very nice,and it is very interesting.I became friends with mates of clubs who is the same age with me.They are so kind.I will go out with them,and we will make a lot of memories this summer.I like to go to university.Because I can see my friends.I like Wednesday.There is a class that all SIS students take on Wednesday.I can see all SIS students.It is really interesting.
 I study very hard everyday.I think SIS students have to study hard better than other faculties.I'a so tired everyday.I need more time.But,I think SIS students are enjoying university's life the best.So,I like this life.I will continue to study hard.

Assignment #8:Maturity and adulthood

 I am 19 years old,and I am not an adult yet.I think I am a child now.I depend on my parents too much.I don't have a job,so my parents give me money.I think,being an adult means live their own life.Adults have to live without somebody's help.So,I am not an adult now.
In Japan,when people become 20 years old,they become an adult.They can drink alcohol,and they can smoke cigarettes.Nowadays,Japanese society is considering about pull down age of adults.It says age of adults should be 18 years old.If it realize,people who are 18 years old have have to assume responsibilities.I disagree with that.I am 19 years old now,but I can't do anything without somebody's help.I also can't assume responsibilities.When I don't cmpletely depend on somebody,I will be an adult.

Assignment#7: Regret

 When I went to Canada to study abroad,I was nervous.In Japan,I am really funny person,but when I arrived at Canada,I was so nervous.I went to the language school.It was very interesting.There were a lot of foreign students.They were so active.They also speak a lot.I wanted to speak a lot like them,but I didn't have courage and self confidence.I regretted that.
 In host mother's house,I regretted,too.I didn't have good English speaking skill,so I was giving up to talk with her.I talked with her,but it's not much.I am really regretting that.After this experience,I tried to learn English conversation more and more.Now,my English skill is improving.I could grow up through this experience.Whwn I go to foreign countries next time,I will talk with foreigners to not regret.

Assignment#6Japan Today.com

 I read an article about AKB48.It is a Japanese idol pop group.There is a  a 4th general election to decide who should be the top member of the group.Last winner was Atsuko Maeda,but she is going to withdraw from AKB48 this summer.Japanese people are focusing on the election.According to a press release,most people thinking that Yuko Oshima will win.The general election for AKB48 is the largest annual event in Japanese music and entertainment.Today Japanese people crazy about AKB48.I think Popularrity of AKB48 will decrease.The person of main was Atsuko Maeda,but she will within,she doesn't participate in the election.So,the election won't warm up.I like AKB48.I also sing their songs when I go to karaoke.I hope AKB48 continues to release good CDs.

Assignment#5 No Reservations:A Show about Travei and Food

 I watched videos about Vietnam and Ireland.It was very interesting to me.I didn't know about these countries well.Vietnam people eat food with their hands.They also eat spicy foods.They have the traditional culture.There are a lot of temple in there,and they are Buddhist.They are very honest people.I had known that Vietnum people are Buddhist.
Ireland is a country in Europe.Ireland's food is very delicious.Their passion of cook.The breakfast of Ireland is very big amount.It is so luxurious meal.I really surprised to see their breakfast.I thought I want to eat the breakfast of Ireland.I also think Ireland is very beautiful country.I could understand about Vietnum and Ireland a little.

Assignment#4:Being Bilingual-What does it mean?

The difference between bilinguals and monolinguals is a heightened ability to monitor the environment.Bilinguals can switch languages quite,but  monolinguals can't do that.The bilingual subjects not only performed better,but they also did so with less activity in parts of the brain.
Brains of SIS students use English so much.They use English in the classes.They also use English outside.They go to study abroad,then they use English a lot.
I wanted to become a bilingual.I think bilinguals have a good point that they can use two languages.They can flourish in the world.I am going to learn English hard,and I am going to can speak two languages like bilinguals.

Assignment#3 About Succes

 Joachim de Posada says that people who succeed in things know the most inportant thing to succeed in.They also succeed in their life.Their grade is good,and they are happy.They also have prospects,and they establish friendly relations with their teachers and friends.On the other hand,people who don't succeed in things can't study well,and some people can't go to university.
I became a patient person through delaying people.I'm a very earnest person.If I meet my friends at 11o'clock,I go to there  10 minutes before.One of my friend is very slovenly with time.She often late.But,I could became a patient person through her.I thought,I will tolerable some delaying people.I could grow,so I satisfy with this result.

There was the  English writing class twice a week in my highschool.Teachers of the class were native speakers.I had to write an essay in English at the class.The theme of an essay changed everytime.I like to write an essay in English,so I liked the class.
I don't worry about this writing class.I think I can write good essays,but I have a ploblem.I am not good at computers.I have to use a computer in this class.I also have to type up with a computer.It's very difficult to me.I want to type essays in English fast.I am going to practice to type essays in English.I also want to show my opinions and ideas.This class will make me grow.I'll do my best.

Welcome to Writing Class

 I had a lot of expectations a few month ago.I want to go to Canada to study abroad next year.I also want to join some clubs.In reality,it is not different than what I expected.My English skill is not good,but it will improve through this class.I will go to Canada to study abroad next year.I aiso will join some clubs
.My university life is so interesting.Meals of Kwanseigakuin university are so delicious,and campus is beautiful,too.I love this university so much.I became a friends with many people.I like to talk with them.
I'm very happy to enter this university.My favorite place is a lounge.I often go there with my friends.I like play with friends who became a friends this month.My university life will better more and more.I will play with my friends a lot.I also will study a lot!
